COURSE PATHWAYS
At UKSoF, we offer a wide range of courses ranging from enjoyable taster days, through to expert seminars from visiting international designers, and we often get asked which is the best course for our students to start on - where is the best place to begin?
To help with this, we’ve grouped several of our most popular courses below to give an approximate idea of difficulty for each course, but if you’re still unsure, or would like to talk with a tutor to confirm the right course for you, please do get in touch with us to discuss where you’re at, and where you want to go.
Step One
The perfect first step on your floristry journey. Reasonably priced, and designed to be the ideal way to either see if floristry is for you, or simply enjoy a pleasurable day working with flowers. Over the course of the day you’ll make three distinct pieces of floristry, each in a different medium and utilising a different skill set, and of course you’ll take each piece home with you too. Its a great starting point, in a relaxed, and creative environment.

Step Two
The Floristry Foundation Class
Following on from the Taster Class, the Foundation Class is designed to dig a little deeper into the skill set required to work in floristry. We’ll cover simple everyday floral designs, and also create some elements of wedding, sympathy, and personal floristry also. The perfect course to develop your skills further, and explore your creativity, prior to fully committing to our Career Course.

Step Three
The Career Course & The Career Course: Mentored
Our flagship Career Course is our gold standard in immersive, fundamental floral experiences. Featuring core floristry projects over all aspects of commercial floristry, you’ll learn from the best in the business, and complete over 20 hands on modules over the course’s duration. It’s an investment in both time and funds, so we recommend completing the above pathway before attending if possible, however the course is designed so you can commence the course fresh, with no prior knowledge of floristry if desired.
With The Career Course Mentored, you’ll receive a year of comprehensive and on-going support following the course.

Step Four
Following our Career Course you may at times wish to take addition training in a specific area of study - this is exactly where classes such as the Wedding Masterclass with Joseph Massie or The Flower Farming Masterclass come into play.
…
One final note - please know, our Intensives with Joseph Massie can be tailored to any level, and are therefore open to all levels of expertise.
