Intensives with Joseph Massie are the ultimate luxury at the UK School of Floristry.

If you’re looking to develop your skills and knowledge on particular subjects, techniques, or themes – whether it’s bouquets, arrangements, installations or centrepieces, our one to one sessions with Joseph Massie will give you both the time and space to boost your skills under the guidance of an industry expert.

You’ll be taught in a warm, friendly environment and receive expert 1:1 tuition from a five time RHS Chelsea Medal Winner, focusing only on the subjects that are important to you and your practice. The Intensives are a wonderful way to focus on building particular skills or overcoming particular design challenges in a supportive and time efficient manner.

We encourage our Intensive students to arrive for 9:30am, to begin at 10am, and usually finish around 4:30pm/5pm. The sessions usually consist of:

3 floral technique topics/techniques/themes of your choosing

A catered lunch

A generous selection of locally sourced flowers

Vessels + props, studio space for styling your completed pieces &

Professional photography of you and your work

Prior to your session, a personal schedule will be created for your session, ensuring we include exactly what it is that you wish to study, and you’ll leave your session with Joseph with everything you design, your notes, and professional photography of your work. As with all of our courses, a flower list will be created for you, using flowers as locally sourced as possible and of the highest quality.

The Intensive dates are strictly subject to availability, and are limited in supply due to their nature, so once you've purchased the booking fee for your intensive, please reach out to us at hello@ukschooloffloristry.com to secure a suitable date. Intensives usually operate on a 1:1 basis, but additional particpants can be included - please contact us with details so we can provide tailored pricing.
