PARKING

We’d recommend students use public transport where they can, we’re just a 10 minute walk from Cornbrook Tram stop.

We do not provide parking at the School and there is very limited parking directly in front of the School. There is on-street parking on the surrounding streets, some of which can be found HERE.

Please note, all vehicles are left at the full responsibility of the owner and UKSOF can take no responsibility for any damage or loss in any form.

TIMINGS

On the morning of your course, please feel free to arrive from 9:45am, for a prompt 10am start, and a 4:30pm (approx) finish.

CLOTHING

Please do wear layered clothing and sensible, covered footwear, for the duration of your course. We have our Joseph Massie aprons for you to wear during course hours also.

TOOLS

For the course itself, you will require a pair of scissors or secateurs. If you have a small floristry tool kit, by all means, please bring this with you to the course. We can provide all tools too, should you need them.

A note book and pens are also recommended for note taking.

If you’d like to purchase floral supplies, check out Joseph's curated Amazon store, full of his personal tools, and recommendations.

LUNCH

Regarding lunch, we will break for lunch for approximately 30 minutes, and we do advise you to bring a packed lunch with you. If this isn't possible, we can recommend places nearby that serve food.

We have a wide selection of teas, herbal teas and coffees at the School, and refreshments will be provided throughout each day.

FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY

A camera is not required, although recommended to bring for your own use and study, and can be helpful when building a portfolio of your work. Please note filming of classes is not approved on any course at UKSOF, however, the taking of still pictures is encouraged. We do ask all students to be respectful of this request.
